All are made from .015” thick blue spring steel. While almost any configuration is possible, below are
some of the more popular styles I have been making. Keep in mind you can choose the aperture size,
annulus thickness and cross wire or post thickness you need within the limits below.
Minimum cross wire = .010”, minimum aperture = .070”, minimum annulus wall = .010” and
minimum post = .020”.
Below are inserts for Balwin and Distant Thunder sights for reference.
Prices are for each insert and are according to the different styles. Any of the styles below can be made for
the different sights noted above.
